Bassé Ibogaine

Conditions We Treat

Bassé provides medically supervised Ibogaine treatment for a wider range of conditions than most people expect, and we are equally clear about what we don't treat. Every condition below links to an in-depth page on how treatment works for that situation.

Addiction Recovery

Mental Health, Brain Injury & Pain

For Veterans

Many of our clients are veterans carrying several of these conditions at once: PTSD, TBI, depression, and the substances used to cope with them. The strongest Ibogaine research in existence was conducted in exactly this community. See our dedicated veterans page.

What We Don't Treat

Honesty about scope is part of medical integrity. We do not treat benzodiazepine addiction, because Ibogaine does not act on the receptor systems involved and is not an effective treatment for it. Read our direct answer on Ibogaine and benzodiazepines.

We also do not treat Suboxone (buprenorphine) dependence. Like other long-acting opioid medications, Suboxone is not compatible with Ibogaine and must be fully tapered under your prescribing physician's supervision before treatment for opioid addiction can be considered.

We also do not treat individuals with active psychotic disorders, severe cardiac conditions, or advanced liver disease, which are absolute contraindications for Ibogaine. See our Safety page for the full screening and contraindication picture, and when in doubt, ask us. Our intake team will give you an honest answer either way.
